Malik asks Afghanistan to handover Maulana Fazalullah

ISLAMABAD, (SANA): Pakistan has asked Afghanistan to arrest and hand over the leader of Swat Taliban Maulvi Fazullah who is based in Kunar province of Afghanistan.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Tuesday, Minister for Interior Rehman Malik said that the Taliban are attacking Pakistani villages and security posts along the Pak-Afghan border in Bajour, Dir and Chitral from inside Afghanistan.

The Interior Minister said that the Afghan government should cooperate with Pakistan in sealing the Pak-Afghan border as it is necessary to control terrorism.

He said that the terrorists have been defeated and they are on run. He said that the terrorists have martyred forty thousand Pakistani nationals. He declared that war against the terrorists would continue.
He said that all those children who have been hired by the Taliban would be provided jobs by the government provided they end their links with the militants.

Answering a question, Rehman Malik said that investigation about the martyrdom of Benazir Bhutto has been finalized and it would be shared with the public with the permission of the court.

To another question, he said that special software would be utilized to filter irreligious materials on youtube. He said that passports would be valid for ten years from 1st of last month.

Earlier the Interior Minister inaugurated Pakistani Origin Cads for Overseas Pakistanis and their spouses. He also launched the Smart Card to replace the existing Computerized National Identity Cards. The smart card would have thirty eight features.
