GCC announces competition of documentary film with name of ‘Heroes of Pakistan’

ISLAMABAD, (SANA): The Non-government Organization, Green Card Capital (GCC) has announced the competition of documentary film with the name of “Heroes of Pakistan”. The people of every age can participate in the competition from Pakistan. The documentary film would of five to three minutes duration.

The camera of any kind including an ordinary camera of mobile phone can be used for preparing the documentary film. First prize is 1000 dollars, second prize is 500 dollars and third prize is 250 dollars in the competition.

Chief Executive Officer of the Green Card Capital Abbas Hashmi, briefing media said that the aim of competition is to present the unknown heroes of country before the world and to surface capabilities of Pakistani youths.

He said that the participants of competition can submit their videos from September 1 to October 31 and results of competition would be announced in December this year.

The first, second and third positions holders in the competition would be trained in the United States for preparing videos. He said that Dr Farrukh is our organizer in the country, adding that we want to move ahead in constructive way. He said that the winners of the competition would be given training and monthly scholarship.

Abbas Hashmi said that the children under 18 years age would submit permission certificates from their parents to participate in competition.

He said that any person can be made hero in these videos. He said that the Green Card Capital contacted 800 schools and universities in the country in this regard.
