Bilawal renews pledge to continue Bhutto’s’ mission: Kaira

GARHI KHUDA BUX, (APP): Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira said on Thursday that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in his historic address renewed the pledge that the party will continue mission of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto.

Talking to media here after the conclusion of the PPP rally at mausoleum of PPP’s deceased leaders to commemorate death anniversary of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, he said that Bilawal has challenged the terrorists and extremist elements like his mother and gave them a clear message that the PPP will continue its fight against that mindset.

He said that the rally was historic and the attendance was overwhelming as the workers come to pay tributes to party’s deceased leaders.

About the address of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, he said that in speech there was glimpse of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto and a “Jiyala” of the party.

He said that during past four and a half years the PPP has tried to strengthen the federation by restoring the Constitution and devolving powers to the provinces but still a lot was needed to be done.

He said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has only demanded from the superior courts to take up reference filed on judicial murder of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and expedite the trial of accused involved in assassination of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.

“His speech also reflected the sentiments of the party workers who want that the killers of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto should be brought to justice as soon as possible and injustice done to Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto should be rectified”, he added.

To a question, he said that leaders are born and nobody can install or launch anyone as political leader.

He said that Bilawal was a born leader like his mother and grand father and now he has joined practical politics after completion of his studies.

Qamar Zaman Kaira said that Bilawal in his speech touched all challenges being faced by the country and the entire region.

He said that Bilawal also gave the message that the PPP wants to take all political forces along in making the country a true democratic state.

Earlier, talking to media at the Sukkar airport, Qamar Zaman Kaira said that one of Benazir Bhutto’s suspected killers was killed in a drone strike whereas the remaining accused languished in jail.

He said that the dialogues are the only solution of all the problems.

He said that the democratic government is following the policy of reconciliation, adding that PPP wants to take the all along with it.

Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the government will complete its constructional tenure.

He said that there is no doubt in it that the upcoming elections would be transparent.

He said that our doors are open, if Taliban want to have dialogues with the government.

He also said the journey started by the late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and carried on by Benazir Bhutto to strengthen the country was full of crises, problems and sacrifices.

He said Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had begun the journey by giving a new philosophy to Pakistan, adding that, Benazir had also given her vision.
